She saw firsthand the challenges he faced with routine medical and dental appointments. This inspired her to provide quality dental care to patients with special needs. Completing a general practice residency at The University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City gave her exposure to treating a diverse patient population.

Dr. Blankenship-Sniker will meet with the patient and determine if it’s necessary to perform treatment in a hospital operating room. She has admitting permissions in several nearby hospitals. She is even happy to coordinate care with other healthcare providers. It’s our goal to have all care happen at our practice. However, we know it’s important to have options. We’ll also give you a cost estimate in advance.
Considering that some patients with special needs have sensory sensitivities, we have dimmable lighting, weighted blankets, noise-canceling headphones, blackout glasses, and sensory pillows. All of our patient rooms have minimal stimulus for their benefit. We can also work with you to find solutions to unique needs.
Because we often restore smiles that have years of dental needs, we’ll split procedures up. It makes it more manageable for the patient. We can also arrange for you and your loved one to come in outside regular business hours, if it’s easier for you.
